Born in Santa Cruz, California back in 1985, Giro has become a well respected, and pioneering brand in both the snowsport, and cycle industries. The brand has travelled the world, and gained a fantastic name in doing so, answering the demands of Skiers and Snowboarders alike to produce the fantastic helmets and goggles that we're proud to be stocking from this season onwards.

After slowly plugging away for a number of years, it was the Nine helmet from Giro that really put the name out there, and is largely regarded as the helmet that started it all in performance in snow helmets. The Nine is still going strong after more than a decade, but hasn't slipped behind the times, with constant updating the helmet has stayed as a standout helmet in the market, and has been redesigned again for the new season.

These days however it's not just the Nine that's leading the pack, it's also joined by a whole host of Giro Helmets such as the Edit which also features an intergrated GoPro camera mount so you don't have to stick those large adheasive pads on your brand new helmet, and it's also the lightest full feature helmet Giro have ever made. The Era is anoter of the greats, and has been designed as a female specific helmet thats a little more elegent, loosing a bit of bulk, without compromising on features and quality.

It's not just helmets that Giro do either, and their goggles are just as well thought of, with names such as station, field, and signal being well know. All the goggles Giro make are seamlessly compatable with Giro helmets too, and are all full of fantastic features such as injection moulded cylindrical lens', anti-fog coatings, and tripple layer foam padding for comfort.

All of the helmets and goggles featured above are available with us here at Ski & Trek this year as well as plenty of others, with something for everyone, and you can check them out by clicking on the brands category, and selecting Giro.

So welcolme to Ski & Trek, Giro. We're extremely proud to be able to stock this well thought of brand, and look forward to getting it out there and offering protection where it matters, on the slope!
